Student Leadership – Grade 6 Awards Criteria
There are five grade 6 graduation awards given each year. The children are given awards according to the school values on a criteria based assessment of their skills and participation. The awards are:
Ever My Best Award – Highest Award
Academic Excellence
Performing Arts Excellence
Sporting Excellence
Excellence in Organisation and Persistence.
The criteria for awards are as follows:
Ever My Best Award – Highest Award
Academic Excellence Class Position based on academic excellence criteria 5 points, 4 points, 3 points, 2 points, 1 point School Performing Arts Musical Lead 5 points, Minor Lead 4 points, Chorus 3 points, Backstage 2 points Or Eisteddfod (Individual) 5 points, School Music Lessons 4 points, School Band 3 points, Choir 2 points Or State School Spectacular 5 points School Leadership School Captain 5, Vice Captain 4 points , Sports Captain 3 points Sport Performance Highest Level of Comp. State Level Competition 5 points, Zone 4 points, District 3 points, Kiewa Valley 2 points.

The school recognises children who have reached school state level competition in any activity via a competitive process and awards a medallion as a memento (State Level Competition Sports / or Music).
