Student Services - Inclusive Education
Inclusive education means that all members of every school community are valued and supported to fully participate, learn, develop and succeed within an inclusive school culture. The aim is to create safe and inclusive school environments for students with disabilities and additional needs.
Our initiatives focus on developing programs to better support and respond to the needs of students a disability or additional learning needs, which may include gender identity, sexual orientation, being an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, race, cultural identity, speaking a language other than English, social factors, economic factors, experience of abuse, neglect and or family violence.
Our school has been a leader in the indigenous Victorian Marrung Awards (2023). We won a global award for Inclusivity (2024) presented at UNSECO headquarters in Paris.
